Dr. Brandon McNichols and I began Hawaii Depression Clinic to make an impact on the community we live in and serve.
You will find me to be attentive and patient. I will seek to understand you and your experiences. Feel free to use our connection to find your way forward.
I became a licensed clinical psychologist in 2014 (Hawaii School for Professional Psychology, an APA-Accredited Institute). I have been training for more than a decade in the art and science of assessment and treatment of depression, among other disorders. My goal is to create connection with you so we can resolve your depression.
When I am not working you can find me on the land and sea with my family, friends and dog named Milo.

Hello and welcome to Hawaii Depression Clinic. My name is Dr. Brandon McNichols and I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been servicing the local community and military community for over a decade.
You will find me to be an attuned listener and collaborator. My focus is finding solutions for your depression that work and that last.
My military experience with the Army gives me perspective into the unique needs of military culture.
Growing up locally gives me insight into our needs as a local community. Oahu continues to change and evolve. It is meaningful to me to support your Ohana and friends with your health and wellness needs.
When away from our clinic I enjoy spending time with family and friends, fishing, diving, and hiking. I look forward to connecting and hearing your story, needs, and vision for growth.

Dr. B, as his clients like to call him, has over 20 years of healthcare experience serving in both community and behavioral health roles.
He has a passion to help inspire and empower others to achieve their ultimate mental health and wellness utilizing the most advanced treatment modalities available.
He is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and has been dually trained as an Advanced Public Health Nurse (APHN).
Dr. B is also a Certified Medical Examiner with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).
He is looking forward to working with you at Hawaii Depression Clinic to maximize your mental health and wellness goals!
